Anthony (a developer) tried to be a PM and organized an outing for some of us to see Pan's Labyrinth.  The movie was no longer showing at the theater, and just to spite him, the restaurant was out of anythhing he ordered.

Here's the crew.  Cody, Sachin, Heather, Anthony, Bob.  Cody would like you to note Cody = Sachin + 1 foot. Heehehhe.

If there is romance here and nobody told me about it, I'm going to be seriously ticked.  Seriously.

Sachin and Anthony don't look nearly as happy as Sachin and Heather.  Kinda strained actually.  Sorry Anthony -- you don't have a chance.

Cody and I have braces.  He is in his 11th month, which means that he is

a) Comfortable getting showing his

b) Is getting his off in 1 month, while I have years left of no smiling.  不好。(That's bu hao -- not good).

The next night Cody and I executed on the previous night's plans, and went to see Pan's Labyrinth at the Egyptian in Seattle.  Truly magical.

January 20th, me, Ginger, Cody, DW, Steph and Mike decided that we wanted to cook dinner, the only requirement was it had to include spinach, DW and Steph needed iron as they had donated blood that day.

Coach?  She's definitely not mini-me.  I miss her.

As part of my new camera craze I thought I would document one of the weekend rituals in Seattle, Cody and my chess at Starbucks. 

Step 1. 

Order Grande Drip in a Venti cup, Grande Mocha with Whip, Sausage Egg and Cheddar breakfast sandwich, and a "Top Pot" old fashioned chocolate donut.

That is our friendly Starbucks cashier, who was very uncomfortable having his picture taken.

Step 2.

Get and pay for the goods.

Step 3.

Set up the chess board and mentally prepare to squash my opponent.

Step 4.

Commence playing!

Don't let Cody think too hard, or step 5 will result.

Step 5 (optional).

Make a sad face when I am defeated.  This only sometimes happens -- approximately 50% of the time.  Up from 0% in the early part of 2006.

Such is life, better luck next time!

I got a new Camera for Christmas!  I have since been taking pictures everyday:

This is a picture of my Nebraska Huskers Koozies!  A gift from the Schellpepper family. I love them, and they are now perpetually filled with Diet Coke.

The Koozies came with Schlitz.  Apparently it is the PBR of poor nebraskanss of 30 years ago.  I'll post when I try it.

Another gift from the heartland.  A John Deere Tractor, desk sized.  1/64th scale model of the original.  A thing of beauty.
